Shawbury (St Mary's) Churchyard

 

 

Shawbury (St Mary's) Churchyard, Shropshire, United Kingdom. Most of the 40 Commonwealth War Graves Commission graves in this Churchyard date from the Second World War and lie in the far corner as seen in the picture below. Five graves from the First World War lie in the south-east of the grounds, in the wildlife conservation part of the Churchyard.

One man of the North Irish Horse, Captain S.T.B. Saunderson, is buried here.
